FUNNY HOW THINGS WORK OUT

Today I was going through some of my old painting files when I ran across something really funny. I used to paint many dog pictures and one of my favorite subjects was a brown skinny whippet / greyhound. I did lots of paintings with this subject. Who knew that a few years later I would adopt this dog and make him part of our family. Above is an older painting of my subject and below is our latest rescue...John Henry, who came to live with us in February of this year, from horrific conditions at a puppy mill. See any resemblance?
